Ophthalmological instruments

The injector basket E 429 can be used
for cleaning and disinfecting
ophthalmological instrumentation used
in the OR.
The upper level features various
connectors for hollow-bodied
instruments, e. g., rinsing and suction
handles and cannulas.
Silicone brackets and stops placed in
the screen tray hold and secure the
instruments to the hose connections in
the injector basket.
The lower level of the injector basket
can hold E 441/1 or E 142 tray / mesh
inserts for use with solid-bodied
instruments.
The mobile units for
ophthalmological OR instruments
come with their own instructions for
use.

The lower water inflow to the
washer-disinfector will need to be
modified as per the instructions for
the E 429.
This also means that the E 429
cannot be used interchangeably
with other mobile units / baskets.

In washer-disinfectors used to
process small-caliber
ophthalmological instruments,
plastic netting must not be used.
