Changing the fine filter

If CHANGE TA FINE appears in the
display, the HEPA filter needs to be
replaced.
To ensure optimal performance, use
only original Miele HEPA filters
(classification 13).
It is best to have the fine (HEPA) filter
replaced directly by Miele Customer
Service during routine servicing.
If that is not possible, the HEPA filter
can be changed as follows:
^ Pull open the drawer to the control
box.
^ Unscrew the upper screws on the
coarse filter housing and lift upward.
^ Remove the coarse filter housing.
Caring for the appliance
^ Remove the old HEPA filter and insert
a new one.
^ Re-insert the coarse filter housing
and flip the screws downward.
^ Tighten the screws.
^ Close the control box drawer.
Whenever you replace the HEPA filter,
you should also re-set the counter.
To do so:
^ Select the CHANGE TA FINE
program (see "Operation", open
program selection).
^ Press the "Start" button 6.
When the service program has finished,
the display will show a message.
^ Confirm the command üCONTINUE<
using the "Start" button 6.
