For data transfer between the
Profitronic controls and an external
report printer or PC, a 9-pin Sub-D plug
is included with the appliance.
The serial interface is RS 232
compatible.
For instructions on how to configure the
interface, refer to the "PC/Print function
section" in the "Programming manual".
Various types of external printer
devices can be used:
– Epson-compatible character set
(font) (a list of suitable printers can
be obtained from Miele Customer
Service).
– HP LaserJet

A commercially available null modem or
LapLink cable can be connected.
The extension cable to the printer/PC
must not exceed 13 m.
When connecting a printer or PC,
please note the following:
– Only use an industry standard PC or
printer.
– When installing the machine take the
dimensions of the printer/PC into
account.
For instructions on how to set the report
printer functions, refer to the section on
"PC/Print functions" in the "Programming
manual".
Various reports can be printed:
a Program report
b Optional extras report
c Wash protocol report
d Fault protocol report
The report print-out documents the
time, along with the:
– Date and machine number
– Program start (with program place
and program name)
– Dispensing system with dispensing
temperature and dispensing
concentration for each program
block
– Effective time successfully
completed with required temperature
reached and time for each program
block
– Achieved temperature and time of
day required in the drying sequence
– All faults (e.g. water inlet blocked)
– All manual interventions (start, stop,
interruptions to power supply)
– Program end
