2.2 Installation of the Hybrid IP-PBX
1.
Connect the grounding rod to the surge protector using a grounding wire with a cross-sectional area of
at least 1.3 mm
2.
Bury the grounding rod near the protector. The grounding wire should be as short as possible.
3.
The grounding wire should run straight to the grounding rod. Do not run the wire around other objects.
4.
Bury the grounding rod at least 50 cm (20 in) underground.
Notes
• The above figures are recommendations only.
• The length of grounding rod and the required depth depend on the composition of the soil.
