A brief press on the  button switches the unit on and off. When the
machine is switched on, the button glows.
In Comfort Standby mode the  button of the PA 2000 R glows dimly to
indicate its state of readiness. In Eco Standby mode the  button is not
lit. (see chapter 'Basic settings of the PA 2000 R')
Caution!
The mains button is not an isolation switch. Certain parts of the machine remain
connected to mains voltage even when the screen is switched off and dark. If you
know you will not be using the machine for a long period, we recommend that you
disconnect it from the mains by withdrawing the mains plug from the wall socket.
To select one of the signal sources as the listening source, push the
corresponding button briefly.
It is possible to assign individual names to the listening sources.
(see Chapter 'Basic settings of the PA 2000 R')
In comfort standby mode, the amplifier can be switched on by pushing a source
button briefly. At the same time this action selects the associated source device
for listening.
(see Chapter 'Basic settings of the PA 2000 R')
This rotary knob is used to set your preferred volume in accurate 1 dB
increments. The value currently set is displayed on the screen.
A long press on this knob switches to balance adjustment: turning the knob to
left or right then alters the balance in the corresponding direction. Press the
knob again long to conclude the adjustment and save the setting.
This knob controls the menu system as well as the volume level. (see Chapter
'Basic functions of the PA 2000 R')
