Travelling in rider mode
Requirements
– Starting up the truck, see "Starting up the truck" on page 61
Procedure
• Swing out both folding side arms (11) (o).

Both side arms must always be folded in or out; otherwise all functions are
deactivated (E-1926).
• Fold down and step on the operator platform (10).
• Swing the tiller (6)in to the travel zone (F).
• Push the travel switch (5) to the desired travel direction: forward (V) or reverse (R).
Z
When the travel switch is released, it automatically returns to the neutral position.
• Control the travel speed with the travel switch (5).
The brakes are released and the truck moves in the selected direction.
NOTE
Travelling is inhibited when the operator platform is vacated and the side arms are
not folded out.
ERE 120: If the standing platform is occupied and the side arms are not folded out,
the truck can only be operated at reduced speed.
If the operator platform is occupied and only one side arm is folded out, travelling
is inhibited.
