Programming
remains active.
The factory setting is 0000. This
means that a PIN entry is not
requested for any setting change. If
you want to remove an existing PIN,
enter and confirm 0000 as the new
PIN. The PIN is then deactivated.
Activating / Deactivating

You have the option of setting your
OpenPhone 52 so that the speaker
emits a small clicking sound when a
key is pressed, which should make
entering information easier.

Language
All messages can be displayed in
different languages. The factory set-
ting is German 'as the telephone
was made in Germany'.

Setting the Ringer

You can set the tone and volume of
the ringer. Two special tone options
are available exclusively on this ter-
minal.

Restoring to Factory Set-
tings
If necessary you can restore the ter-
minal to its factory settings.

Reset
Select the
softkey.
: Restoring the terminal to the
NB
factory settings deletes all existing
settings. The display language is
restored to German, the telephone
book is deleted, and all pro-
grammed MSNs are lost.
Settings which affect your ISDN line
but not your terminal are not delet-
ed when the terminal is reset. If a
call diversion is active, you cannot
restore the terminal to factory set-
tings. The call diversion must first
be deactivated.
