By default, there is no Message Wait Notification for all stations. Message Wait
Notification is part of the 'Station Advanced Feature template', Go to 'Station
Advanced Feature Template' assigned to the station to set the Message Wait
Notification Type as required.
Further configuration of the VMS Card is described later as a separate topic

'Configuring the VMS Card'.

Configuring the VMS Card
Gather the following information:
Extension numbers to which mailbox is to be assigned.
If the Ethernet port of the VMS Card is going to be connected in a LAN network,
consult the LAN administrator and get the IP Address and Subnet mask to be
assigned to the Ethernet Port of the VMS Card.

How to reach the Home Page of Web Server of VMS?

Connecting the VMS card with the computer.
Connect the Ethernet Port of the VMS Card to the Ethernet Port of the Computer
using the RJ-45 cable provided with the card.
The default IP Address of the VMS card is 192.168.1.131 and Subnet Mask is
255.255.255.0.
To be able to access the web server of VMS card using computer, the VMS
Ethernet port and the computer should be in the same Subnet.
Follow the steps given below to change the VMS Ethernet port IP Address and
Subnet Mask:
Step 1: Enter into the Programming mode
Dial VMS Group access code (Default 3931) from any station.
VMS will answer the call and greet with Welcome Message.
Dial *19-1234 (1234 is the default SE Password of VMS) during the
Welcome message.
VMS will prompt you: "Enter the Programming Command".
