COMPUTER INTERFACE (USB)

The USB port allows you to control the UPS and provides a convenient
format for reading out status messages and measured values. Use the
USB communication cable included in the scope of delivery to connect your
UPS to a NAS (network-attached storage) system. As soon as the UPS is
connected to the NAS system, the UPS communicates with the system.
Using the HID power device protocol does not always necessarily require
any additional software (such as CompuWatch) to be installed. Intelligent
loads, such as the NAS system, detect that a UPS is connected and are
able to communicate with it. The operating state or the backup time of the
UPS can be queried via the user interface of the NAS system. The user
interface also provides the user with an extremely simple way of making
various settings for the UPS behavior in the event of a power failure, such
as the automatic shutdown after 2 minutes without a mains supply.
