5.1.1 Getting Ready for Adjustment

This section explains camera and PC setting up for adjustment. Follow
the procedures below and complete the setting-up.
„ Disconnect the AC adapter or remove batteries
before disassembling the camera.
„ Discharge the electricity in the electrolytic
condenser(C5412) by using the cement resistance.
The electrolytic condenser, which is mounted on the
ST1 board, is for light emission and is charged
automatically every time the power is turned on.
Therefore, if you need to touch the ST1 board for
repair service, you must release the electricity in the
condenser. (See Chapter 4 for more details)
1. Use PC with Windows
®
IBM
-compatible PC with 486 or higher processor.
3.5-inch high-density diskette drive
Serial port with standard RS-232C interface
8 MB RAM
Hard disk drive with at least 15 MB available
VGA or SVGA monitor with at least 256-color display.
„ Error indication "Camera is not connected" will be
displayed, when you try to activate the program
without turning the power of the camera On.
