4.1.5.3 Setting-Up the CA2 Board

1. If there are no soldering points on the shield case located at the
front face of CA2 board, drop one soldering to the position as it is
shown in the Figure 4-10. (Soldering position)
2. Solder the black cable for prevention of radiation (about 2.5 cm) to
the dropped soldering point made at Step 1 above.
3. Solder the black cable (about 3.5 cm) for prevention of radiation to
the soldering point, which is located at the under the serial I/F
connector on the reverse face of the CA2 board by using the
soldering iron.
The destination of the cable at the Step2 ends at the
soldering point on the shield case of the front face of
ST1 board. (See "Connecting Boards" on page -51)
The destination of the cable at the Step 3 ends at the
nearest soldering point to the video terminal on the
front face of the ST1 board. (See "ST1 Board Setting-
Up" on page -49)
