soft sponge and car shampoos that
create protective films against the
environment influence.
ATTENTION!
Do not use soda and caustic
solutions, as well as sewage and
other solutions that are not
intended for vehicle wash.
Before washing the vehicle, clean
drain holes of doors and sills.
ATTENTION!
Due to a big choice on the mar-
ket of washing machines with
brush assemblies of different
design, vehicle wash with the use
of brush washing machines can
lead to loss of paint coating gloss
and reduction of its protective
properties. Therefore, before
washing your vehicle, in advance
ask the operator of a washing
machine for its design, technical
condition of brushes and their
impact on the paint coating of
your vehicle.
In summer wash your vehicle out-
doors in the shade. If this is not pos-
sible, then immediately wipe washed
surfaces dry, as water droplets dry-
ing in the sun on the painted surface
128
form spots. In winter, after washing
the vehicle in a warm room before
driving out clean the body and door
seals dry, as water droplets freezing
to the paint coating may form cracks
on it and the seals may freeze to the
body.
ATTENTION!
Do not wash the vehicle with
the ignition on.
When washing the vehicle avoid
direct spray of water on electrical
products, electronic devices, sen-
sors and detachable joints in the
engine compartment. Check the
condition of protective covers of
detachable joints in electronic units
and sensors. In case of ingress of
moisture into the detachable joints
blow them with compressed air and
process with waterproof product to
protect contacts against oxidation.
During washing the vehicle thor-
oughly wash the hemming of the
doors, the bonnet, the boot lid, the
welds and the joints of the engine
compartment, the luggage compart-
ment and the door openings, as
accumulated dirt in these areas will
lead to damage of protective and
decorative coatings and corrosion of
the metal.
ATTENTION!
The manufacturer of the prod-
ucts ensures that no signs of per-
foration corrosion are on the vehi-
cle body for a stated term of the
warranty. Corrosion on the body
and other parts of the vehicle dur-
ing its operation is possible and
does not mean improper product
quality.
If you notice signs of corrosion
(including in welded joints and
seams), as well as damage of the
paint coating (chips, scratches,
scuffing) and other protective
coatings (chips and abrasion of
mastic and soil) you should con-
tact the certified SSNE to take
action to avoid further corrosion
propagation, restore and repair
the paint and protective coatings.
Actions taken to prevent prop-
agation of corrosion on the body
and other parts of the vehicle will
extend its service life for a long
time and save its market condi-
tion. In the case of non-accept-
ance by you of timely measures to
prevent corrosion processes on
the vehicle body, the manufactur-
er assumes no responsibility for
the further condition of the body
of your vehicle.
