TRIP COMPUTER CONTROL
(in the design variant)
Trip computer control buttons are
located on the wiper lever and shown
in Figure 33.
Button 1 – reset of trip computer
readings, gear-change prompt tone
on/off.
Button 2 (when pressing upper
arrow key) – switching the selection
mode of trip computer's functions
«in a loop» forward, setting minutes
in the mode of time setting.
Button 2 (when pressing lower
arrow key) – switching the selection
mode of trip computer's functions
«in a loop» backward, setting hours
in the mode of time setting.

LIGHTING CONTROL MODULE
AND DIPPED BEAM ADJUSTER
Exterior light switch (ELS) 1
(Fig. 34) has three fixed positions (or
four – in the design variant):
O – with the engine off the exterior
lights are off, with the engine on the
daytime running lights (DRL) are on;
tail lights combined with
DRL are on;
tail lights are on as well as
dipped or main beam depending on
the position of the light alarm switch
(see the section «Light alarm
switch»).

in the design variant in this
position the tail lights and dipped
beam are switched on and off auto-
matically depending on the exterior
lighting condition. Light sensor is
combined with rain sensor and it is
located on the windshield behind the
rear-view mirror.
The automatic control system of
exterior lighting (lighting system)
switches on and off the tail lights and
dipped headlights depending on the
level of exterior lighting. For exam-
ple, in twilight, as well as at the
entrance to the tunnel or garage.
