Activating/deactivating advisory tones

Your handset uses "advisory tones" to tell you about different activities and statuses. The
following advisory tones can be activated and deactivated individually (the factory set-
ting: On).
Key click: Every key press is confirmed
Acknowledge tones:
– Confirmation tone (rising tone sequence): at the end of an input/setting, when
the handset is placed in the charging unit and when a new text message or a new
entry arrives in the calls list or answering machine list (SL 150 only)
– Error tone (a falling tone sequence): with incorrect input
– End of menu tone: when scrolling at the end of a menu
Battery tone: The battery needs recharging.

Select the melody.
Playing back the melody:
Press the display key.
Changing an entry:
Press the display key.
Scroll to the Volume line to change the volume.
Scroll to the Edit Entry line to change the name.
Scroll to the View Entry line to view the file name.
Scroll to the Delete Entry line to delete the entry.
Long press (back to idle status).

Advisory Tones
In the line Key Tones: activate or deactivate key
click.
Scroll to the Confirm.: line to activate/deactivate
acknowledge tones.
Scroll to the Battery: line and select On, Off or
during call. The battery warning tone is then acti-
vated/deactivated or you will hear it only during a
call.
Now press the display key to confirm the setting.
Long press (back to idle status).
