Upgrading the projector software

be done twice: once for the master PMP, once for the slave PMP.
Upgrade tool
The name of the upgrade tool is according to this format:
SIM7v00.37.0045.exe

Two main parts can be seen:
device: this is the projector type
version: indicates the version
-
two first digits (e.g. 00): major revision
-
second pair of digits (e.g. 10): minor revision
-
last four digits (e.g. 0001): build number
Necessary tools
local network with DNS and DHCP server
latest projector software version (= upgrade tool)
How to upgrade the projector?
1. Download the latest projector software version from the PartnerZone or from the Barco Intranet (InfoBarco)
2. Save this upgrade file on a computer which can be connected to the same (local) network as the projector
3. Make sure that the projector is switched off
4. Connect this computer to the local network in which the projector is included
Note: Both ethernet connectors of the projector must be connected to this local network, which must include a DNS and a
DHCP server!
5. Switch on the projector
6. Double click the upgrade tool
7. Enter the IP address or host name of the considered PMP and hit OK

Note: The host name of the master PMP is S139xxxxxxa, where 139xxxxxx is the serial number of the projector.
Note: The host name of the slave PMP is S139xxxxxxb, where 139xxxxxx is the serial number of the projector.
8. Compare the version of the downloaded upgrade tool to the actual installed version
