Cleaning the filters in the wash
cabinet
The flat filter in the bottom of the wash
cabinet and the filters in front of the
circulation pumps prevent the
introduction of contaminant particles
into the circulation system.
,
The washer must not be
operated without the filters in place.
,
Risk of injury due to glass
splinters, needles, etc. which are
retained by the flat filter.

Cleaning the flat filter

Retained contaminant particles may
clog the flat filter. For this reason, the
filter requires cleaning at least once
every day.
If heavy contamination is visible after a
program cycle, the flat filter requires
cleaning before the program is started
again.
If there is any visible residue on the
flat filter after manual cleaning, it can
be removed by cleaning in the
washer-disinfector.
The exact process depends on the
mobile unit. Please contact Miele
Technical Service if you have any
questions.
Maintenance of the washer-disinfector
^ Use the handles to remove the flat
filter.
Do not pull at the ventilation pipes
as they could bend and thus lose
some of their functionality.
^ Use running water (and a brush, if
necessary) to rinse off deposits and
contaminants.
^ Blow compressed air through the flat
filter from the back against the
direction of flow.
^ Replace the flat filter.
Insert the flat filter horizontally and
ensure that the gasket is flush with
the washing cabinet.
^ Manually turn the lower machine
spray arm to check its free rotation.
