Making Antenna (Aerial) Connections
Connecting an FM outdoor antenna (aerial) (non-European models only)
If the FM reception is not very clear with the supplied antenna (aerial), connect an FM outdoor
antenna (aerial) instead of the indoor FM antenna (aerial).
Connecting coaxial cable to a 75/300 ohm antenna (aerial) adapter
1 Strip the end of the coaxial cable.

2 With your fingernail or a small screw-
driver, press the stoppers outward
and remove the cover.
3 Remove the transformer wire A from
slit B and insert it into slit C.

4 Insert the end of the cable.
5 Clamp it in place with pliers.

6 Reinstall the cover.
Directional Iinkage
Do not use the same antenna (aerial) for both
FM and TV (or VCR) reception, since the FM and
TV (or VCR) signals can interfere with each
other. If you must use a common FM/TV (or
VCR) antenna (aerial), use a directional linkage
type splitter.
