Check if the RED indicator lamp stays ON, if
so, stop engine and bleed system by remov-
ing oil filter and bleeding screw.

BEHIND OIL FILTER
1. Bleeding screw
Reinstall all removed parts then start the en-
gine. Check if the RED indicator lamp stays
ON. If so, repeat the bleeding procedure. If
the RED indicator lamp stays continually ON,
stop the engine and see an authorized
Bombardier ATV dealer.
Ensure oil filter area, hose and drain plug ar-
eas are not leaking.
Stop engine and check oil level. Refill as nec-
essary.
Dispose oil as per your local environmental
regulations.

Coolant Replacement

WARNING
In order to avoid potential burns, do not
remove the radiator cap or loosen the en-
gine drain plug if the engine is hot.
Turn the radiator cap counterclockwise and
remove it.
Remove the drain plug on the LH side of en-
gine and drain the coolant into a suitable con-
tainer.

1. Cooling plug
Drain the system completely and reinstall the
drain plug.
Remove the temperature sensor on the top of
thermostat housing.
Fill radiator until coolant comes out by the
temperature sensor hole.
Install the temperature sensor and continue
the cooling system filling by the radiator.
Complete the radiator filling.
Check the level in the coolant reservoir and
refill if necessary.
Run engine at idle with the radiator cap off.
Slowly add additional coolant if necessary.
At this point, wait until engine reaches normal
operating temperature. Depress the throttle
lever two or three times; then add coolant if
required.
Install radiator cap. Inspect all connections for
leaks and check coolant level in the reservoir.
