d. Lock the swivel support in its new position by tightening the
knob (N, fig 2 & 3).
To return to the initial positions, proceed as follows:
a. Release the swivel support by slackening the swivel support lock
knob (N, fig 2 & 3).
b. Turn the swivel support (H, fig 2 & 3) using the control handgrip (A, fig 2
& 3).
c. Stop rotation at the miter limiter.
d. Lock the swivel support in its new position by tightening the
knob (N, fig 2 & 3).
ADJUSTING THE SLIDING BLADE GUIDE
CAUTION: Perform this adjustment whenever you prepare for a work
phase.
a. Loosen the sliding guide lock knob (T, fig 2 & 3).
b. Slide the sliding blade guide (D, fig 2 & 3) until it is as close to the
workpiece as possible.
c. Run through the motions of the work phase (not under power) to be
performed to make sure that there is no potential interference and / or
contact between the blade guide, the workpiece and other parts of the
machine.
d. Lock the blade guide in position by tightening the sliding guide lock knob
(T, fig 2 & 3).
CUTTING SPEED ADJUSTMENT
● Select the speed, whether 197 fpm or 262 fpm (60 or 80 m/min), using
the
speed selection switch
CLAMPING A WORK PIECE
This tool comes with a vise for securing your work piece. For larger work
pieces, seek out additional vises or clamps.
CORRECT WORKPIECE POSITIONING
● Place the workpiece to be cut directly between the jaws, without placing
any other objects between the workpiece and the jaws.
WARNING! To position flat or specially shaped profiles, please refer to
the figure below.

● If the thickness of the profile is very thin, to stop it from getting crushed
in the jaws of the clamp, push a mould into the profile which matches its
shape.
SECURE AN ITEM FOR CUTTING
a. Raise the band saw head.
b. Locate the vise screw handle (K, fig 2 & 3).
c. Rotate the vise handle counter-clockwise until there is enough room for
your work piece between the vise plates (J, fig 2 & 3).
