Upper front cover

1.
Open the front door.
2.
Remove the two screws securing each door hinge to the front door.
1. Remove the top cover. Remove the imaging unit. Cover the imaging
unit to protect its photconductive belt from light.
2.
Remove the four screws securing the front covers.
3.
Disconnect the front panel board's wiring harness and ground wire.
4. To separate the lower front cover from the upper front cover, remove
the two screws securing them together.
Note
Note that the bottom front cover clips underneath the printer frame.
Lift the printer slightly to remove the cover in the next step.
1. Open the front door.
2. Remove the three screws securing the bottom front cover in place.
3. Tilt the cover forward and remove it.
1. Remove the top cover. Remove the imaging unit. Cover the imaging
unit to protect its photconductive belt from light.
2.
Remove the three screws securing the toner level sensor board.
3.
Disconnect the sensor board's wiring harness. Remove the sensor.
