Choose the required water temperature by pushing button A6 until the temperature is shown
on the display (the value on the display flashes 5 times, the lighting of the corresponding point
shows the set temperature). Subsequently, press button A5 immediately, the kettle is turned on.
After switching on the heating, the temperature point A9 will be lit permanently and the current
water temperature will be shown on the display. After reaching the temperature, the sound
signal will be heard three times, the temperature point will go out and the kettle will switch off.
Consider the following types an inspiration, the purpose of which is not to provide a manual,
but to show the possibilities of various substance processing. The water temperatures are for
guidance only and may vary according to personal taste, quantity, kind, quality, and age of the
tea, coffee, etc. used.
– 60 °C = hot beverages,
– 70 °C = green tea,
– 80 °C = white tea,
– 95 °C = oolong teas, coffee, instant drinks, soups,
– 100 °C = black and herbal teas and other teas.
ATTENTION
– Unless you push button A5 while the set value is flashing on the display, the kettle
switches into the basic mode of displaying the current water temperature and it is
necessary to repeat the setting process.
– If you are making food for children (e.g. with the 60 °C temperature), it is necessary to boil
the water at 100 °C first. Wait until the water cools down and check its temperature before
serving. The recommended safe temperature food for children is max. 40 ° C.
IV. MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the fork of the power cord out of the
socket! Clean the kettle only when it is cooled down! Do not use rough and aggressive
detergents (e.g. sharp objects, scrapers, diluting agents or other solvents)! The casing of
the electric kettle and the heating bottom is made of top-quality stainless steel, but in common
use, impurities from water get stuck on them (water scale), particularly above the heating element.
It is not rust or another material defect of the kettle container and the appliance is not
subject to a complaint for this reason. If the power cord is soiled, wipe it with a wet cloth.
Cleaning the sieve (A10)
Take the sieve from the kettle. Clean it from possible sediments in running water using a fine
brush. Then put the sieve back in the opposite way.
Cleaning the kettle
In the hard water area, it is important to do the decalcification regularly to keep the kettle in
good working condition, because too much scale inside may cause the kettle fail to work. For
the best performance of your kettle, decalcify the unit from time to time. The frequency depends
on the hardness of your tap water and how many times you have used the kettle. Decalcification
will clean the interior of the unit.
This may be done in the following manner:
Put about 50 g of citric acid into the kettle with limescale sediment. Fill the kettle half with wa-
ter and stir. After dissolving, fill it up to ¾ of maximum amount of water. Place the kettle on the
stand and turn on. Turn off the kettle before reaching boiling point, let the solution work for 10
minutes and then pour it out. Rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water. In case of very thick
sediments, you can repeat the process. Clean the kettle regularly!
