Saving Settings and Registering the MH240

Set the Phone No.:

Factory Default: -
1.
Press 8 (Phone No.) to go to the Phone No. edit screen.
2.
Edit the Phone Number and then press the "OK" soft key.
3.
Continue with the next feature or press the Power/On-Hook key and 2 to save.
Pressing the Power/On-Hook key and 1 will cancel any entered changes.
NOTE: The phone number you set will be displayed in Standby mode screen.

Set the I-SIP Port:

Factory Default: 5080 (1.NEC-SETUP)

Press 9 (I-SIP Port) to go to the I-SIP Port edit screen.
2.
Edit the I-SIP Port (ex: 5080) and then press the "OK" soft key.
3.
Press the Power/On-Hook key and 2 to save.
Pressing the Power/On-Hook key and 1 will cancel any entered changes.
NOTE: If you set this port to blank, MH240 works as standard SIP.
Press HOLD as required to return to the Setting Saved screen and select (2) to save the
changes made. Or, press the Power/On-Hook key and 2 to save.
Pressing the Power/On-Hook key and 1 will cancel any entered changes.
Press HOLD as required to return the MH240 to and idle state.
The MH240 will first CONNECT with the wireless AP and then REGISTER with the UX5000.
To check on the progress, press MENU, press 0 (Information), then 1 (Status). Press the
"OK" soft key
The Status Screen will display the SIP status and Wireless status. A registered and activated
MH240 handset will display :
SIP Status
Wireless Status
* Optional for MH240 registration *
Status
Registered
Connected
