Unplug the device from the power socket before cleaning it. Use a soft, lint-free
cloth. Never use liquid or easily flammable cleansers (sprays, abrasives, polishes, al-
cohol, etc.). Do not allow any moisture to reach the interior of the device.

Special fax cleaning sheets are available as accessories from our call centre. Insert
a sheet into the document feeder. Press j; the page is ejected. Repeat this process
at a few times.
1.
Lift the panel upwards until it snaps into position.
2.
Wipe the scanner glass with a soft, dry and lint-free cloth behind the rollers for the paper
guide.
3.
Close the panel.

If a problem occurs that cannot be corrected with the instructions in this user manual (see
also the help below), follow the steps given here.
1.
Pull out the power plug.
2.
Wait at least ten seconds, then plug the power plug back into the socket.
3.
Follow the instructions on the display. If the problems repeats, please contact our tech-
nical customer service or your retailer.
