5. Disconnect the cover presence switch cable from the cover presence switch connector on the system
board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 35.

as shown and lift the cover presence switch up to remove it from the chassis.

7. Put the new cover presence switch into the hole and press it down until it snaps into position.
Note: Note the orientation of the cover presence switch.

8. Connect the cable of the new cover presence switch to the cover presence switch connector on the
system board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 35.
9. Install the front bezel. See "Replacing the front bezel" on page 88.
