5. Remove the front bezel by releasing the three plastic tabs on the top of the front bezel and pivoting
the front bezel outward.

6. To reinstall the front bezel, align the three plastic tabs on the bottom of the front bezel with the
corresponding holes in the chassis. Then pivot the front bezel inwards until it snaps into position.
7. Reinstall the optical drive. See "Replacing the optical drive" on page 82.

Replacing the storage drive

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.

Replacing the 3.5-inch storage drive in the primary storage drive bay
To replace the 3.5-inch storage drive in the primary storage drive bay, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 82.
