PROBLEM

TROUBLESHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Dirty or wet ignitor(s).
Oils cook onto the surface
with repeated use.
Power outage in your home
or neighborhood.
The oven is in a CLEAN cycle
Fatty cuts of meat.
Grill grate is not positioned
correctly; grease runs down
into
the radiant tray rather than
the grease drip-pan.
Power outage in your home
or neighborhood.
The oven is in a CLEAN cycle
A CLEAN cycle is already
running in the main oven.
The secondary oven is already
in use.
WHAT TO DO
Clean the ignitor(s). See
'Care and cleaning' for
instructions.
This is normal and doesn't
affect cooking performance.
The griddle cannot be used
until power is restored.
Wait until the CLEAN cycle
has finished, or follow the
instructions under 'To cancel
a CLEAN cycle in the section
'Care and cleaning'.
Minor flare-ups are normal.
To minimize them, trim
excess fat off meat before
grilling.
Turn the grill off, wait for
it to cool, then position it
correctly. See 'Using the
grill' for instructions and
illustrations.
The grill cannot be used until
power is restored.
