Rückwandabstand mindestens 10 cm für
Verkabelung und ausreichende Kühlung.
Konstruktionsbedingt muss ein Mindestabstand
zwischen Subwoofer-Unterseite und Fußboden
eingehalten werden - die sogenannte
Bassreflex-Öffnung ist auf der Unterseite des
Gerätes angebracht -, weswegen der ELAC
Subwoofer mit montierten Füßen ausgeliefert
wird. Bei langflorigen Teppichen empfiehlt es
sich, die Füße durch die mitgelieferten Spike-
Aufsätze zu ersetzen. Achten Sie bitte auf eine
lichte Höhe von min. 25mm zwischen
Subwoofer-Unterseite und Fußboden.
Falls Gegenstände auf den ELAC Subwoofer
gestellt werden sollen, sind sie auf
Klapperfreiheit und Sicherheit gegen
Verrutschen zu untersuchen. Eine Vase etwa
sollte zumindest auf einem Deckchen stehen.
Aus dem Automobilzubehör gibt es auch
spezielle Matten, die das Verrutschen
verhindern. Mit einer Gummi- oder Filzmatte als
Zwischenlage ist es durchaus möglich und
sinnvoll, einen der Haupt-lautsprecher auf den
ELAC Subwoofer zu stellen.
Alle nicht massiv gebauten Teile eines
Wohnraumes und viele
Einrichtungsgegenstände werden durch kräftige
Bassamplituden zum Mitschwingen angeregt.
Dies erhöht die durchaus erwünschte
Absorption, kann aber auch zu störenden
Scheppergeräuschen führen, vor allem, wenn
Metall und Glas im Spiel sind. Schranktüren,
Glasvitrinen und alles was darauf oder darin
steht, sind typische Kandidaten. Die
Quellensuche ist z.T. schwierig, da sich die
Geräusche oft nur schwer orten lassen. Abhilfe
schaffen weiche Stoffe wie Filz, Stoff-gewebe
oder Schaumstoff als Unter- oder
Zwischenlage.

the back for proper cabling and cooling.
Since the vent opening is placed on the
bottom of the subwoofer, a minimum distance
between the device and the floor must be
kept. Therefore , ELAC subwoofer is equipped
with polyamide feet already mounted. On shag
carpets, the rubber feet should be replaced by
the spikes provided with the device.
Clearance between the subwoofer bottom and
the floor should be at least 25 mm.
If you want to place objects on the ELAC
subwoofer, make sure they do not rattle or
slip, e.g. by placing a mat underneath. Non-
skid mats may be found at automobile
accessory shops. You can even place a main
speaker on the ELAC subwoofer with a rubber
or felt sheet in-between.
Powerful bass amplitudes may resonate
and reverberate with the movable parts of a
room and many furnishings. This will increase
the desired absorption, but may also lead to
disturbing rattle, especially if metal and glass
are involved (e. g. cupboard doors, glass
cases, and all items standing upon or inside of
them.) Sometimes the sources cannot be
accurately traced. Soft materials like felt, fabric
or foam can be used as dampening pads.

被强有力的超低音振幅激起共振

如果金属和玻璃也在其中时，会
产生干扰性的叮当噪音。柜门，
玻璃窗和其它融合在里面的物品
都是最容易振动的对象。寻其来
源有时候是很困难的，因为很难
测定噪音的方位。可使用毡垫，
织物纤维或泡沫塑料垫在下面或
中间。
