Swing the front of the cartridge up off the printhead, then lift the cartridge out and discard it.
Caution! The printhead may be HOT!

Unpack the ribbon cartridge.
Important! Do NOT remove the ribbon shield (1) from the ribbon!

Install the new ribbon cartridge.
1) Hold the ribbon cartridge as shown below.

2) Fit the grooves in the flat end of the cartridge over the posts on the ribbon plate.
