Explanation
Adjusts image density for each color
component (cyan, magenta, yellow and
black). Normal setting is 0.
See "Setting Color Tuning from The
Front Panel" on page 66.
Adjusts darkness of each color
component (cyan, magenta, yellow and
black). Normal setting is 0.
Performs automatic color registration
adjustment. Normally this is done at
power on and when the top cover is
opened and then closed. This process
accurately aligns the cyan, magenta and
yellow images to the black image.
Performs fine adjustment of image
timing in relation to the black image
component.
Choosing a positive value darkens the
color; choosing a negative value
lightens the color.
Selects from a range of industry
standard color swatches.
If paper curl occurs when printing pages
with large areas of black print, changing
this setting may help reduce the curl.
