Speaker assembly (includes cable)
Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the speaker assembly:
1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1).
2. Lift the tape that secures the cable to the computer (2).
3. Remove the six Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (3) that secure the speakers to the computer.
4. Remove the speakers from the computer (4).
