Description
Speaker assembly
Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Place the computer in Battery Safe mode
3.
Remove the bottom cover
4.
Remove the battery
Remove the speaker assembly:
1.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1).
2.
Remove the antenna cables from the routing channel in the right speaker (2).
3.
Remove the display cable from the routing channel near the left speaker (3).
4.
Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 5.5 screws (4) that secure the speakers to the computer.
5.
Remove the speakers from the computer (5).
Reverse this procedure to install the speaker assembly.
