Description
Speaker assembly
Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the bottom cover (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Remove the speaker assembly:
1.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1), and then remove the cable from the clip (2).
2.
Remove the two Phillips M2.0×2.5 screws (3) that secure the speaker to the computer.
3.
Remove the speaker from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the speaker.
