There are as many as 62 screws, in 5 different sizes, that must be removed, replaced, or loosened when servicing the computer. Make special note of each screw size and location during removal and replacement. Pull the antenna cables through the opening in the top cover 3 and disengage the cables from the clip in the routing channel leading to the display hinge 4.

Failure to support the display assembly can result in damage to the display assembly and other computer components. 4. Remove the four Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws 1 securing the display hinges to the computer. 5.

To replace the display bezel or any of the display assembly internal components, remove the following screw covers and screws: 1 2 mylar screw covers on the display bezel bottom edge. The display mylar screw covers are included in the Display Rubber Kit, spare part number 595198-001.

To remove the Display Bezel, flex the inside edges of the bezel at the top and bottom 1, and the left and right sides 2, until the bezel disengages from the display enclosure. 8. Remove the display bezel 3. Reverse this procedure to install the display bezel.
