Speaker assembly
Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Place the computer in Battery Safe mode
3.
Remove the bottom cover
4.
Remove the battery
Remove the speaker assembly:
1.
Disconnect the antennas from the WLAN module (1) (select models only).
2.
Remove the antenna cables from the routing channel in the left speaker (2).
3.
Disconnect the display cable from the system board ZIF connector (3), and then remove the cable from
the routing channel in the right speaker (4).
4.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1).
5.
Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 5.5 screws (2) that secure the speakers to the computer.
