Change the system name by using the following command:
ERS-8610:5(config)#sys name ERS-8610
Configure the system contact by using the following command:
ERS-8610:5(config)#snmp-server contact
joe.smith@somecompany.com
Configure the system location by using the following command:
ERS-8610:5(config)#snmp-server location "12 Main
St, Vancouver, BC"
You must log on to the Global Configuration mode in the NNCLI.
Action
Configure the time zone by using the following command:
boot config tz
Save the changed configuration to the boot.cfg and pcmboot.cfg
files.
Reboot the switch.
