COOKInG pROGRAMS

General recommendations:
• Measure the cereal with a measuring cup according to the recipe. The
measuring cup volume is 160 ml.
• Wash the cereal before cooking. Do not use the multi-cooker inner pot to
do this so as not to damage the non-stick coating.
• During cooking a controlled environment is created in the multi-cooker, so
it is not recommended to open the multi-cooker lid during cooking as this
would change the pressure and temperature inside.
• After the cooking is finished do not leave the cooked dish in the multi-
cooker inner pot for a long time. Clean the multi-cooker after each use.
Non-observance of hygienic requirements can lead to unpleasant odours
due to the growth of microbes and bacteria.
Rice
• This program is suitable for cooking all kinds of rice, buckwheat and other
cereals.
• The cereal cooked using this program will be soft, retain all of its nutri-
ents and have an appetising appearance.
• In this mode you can use one of three automatic programs for choosing
the cooking level: soft, standard or hard.
Express rice
• This program allows to reduce the cereal cooking time. In the fast cooking
mode it is recommended to cook no more than 4 portions. Rice cooked in
the fast cooking mode could be less flavoured and tasty.
pilaf
• The program for cooking different kinds of pilaf: with meat, vegetables
or dried fruit, and also for making spaghetti bolognaise, buckwheat with
meat etc.
Risotto
• The program for making risotto.
Milk porridge
• The program for cooking different kinds of milk porridge, including those
with added extra ingredients. By changing the amount of water and ce-
real, you can change the thickness and the degree of cooking.
potato
• The program for boiling, stewing or baking potatoes.
Soup
• Soups cooked in this mode are full-favoured and nourishing. During cook-
ing pressure is created in the multi-cooker, steam does not escape and
the soup retains its flavour.
Stewing
• Suitable for cooking a large variety of meat dishes, vegetables, cereals
etc. which need long stewing at the temperature of about 100°C, e.g.
meat jelly, compote or hotpot.
Steaming
• Suitable for steam-cooking vegetables, fish, dumplings and other
steamed dishes. You just need to insert the removable steam bowl and
pour water into the multi-cooker inner pot. Steamed dishes retain more
nutrients and are suitable for dietetic nutrition.
Attention: Water must cover to bottom but not reach the steam bowl.
frying
• Used to fry meat, fish or poultry.
• Suitable for preliminary browning of meat or vegetables for "Pilaf",
"Soup" and other modes.
• Due to the non-stick coating the multi-cooker allows hassle-free frying
with just adding a little oil.
• It is possible to use the frying mode with the lid open.
Baking
• For making cakes, pies, muffins and other pastries, is also perfectly suited
for roasting meat, poultry and vegetables.
Selfcleaning

the "Maintenance and cleaning" section.
