review Directory entries

In idle mode, press . The first entry in the directory shows.
NOTE
If there is no entry in the directory, the screen shows "Directory empty".

NOTE
If the telephone number in the directory exceeds 15 digits, < * appears in front of the
telephone number. Press * to move towards the end of the telephone number or press #
to move towards the beginning of the telephone number.

Dial a Directory entry

1. While in the directory, press
alphabetically using the alphanumeric keypad (see to Search Alphabetically on
page 27).

to Search Alphabetically

When an entry appears, press the dialing keys (0-9) to start a name search. For
example, the entry started with the letter T, press 8 once. The letter appears on the top
of the screen, and the telephone searches the entry in the directory. If there is no name
associated with that letter, the screen shows the next closest name. Press
scroll through the entries if necessary.
