5. DoWn / cID
In idle mode: Press to access the call list.
In menu mode: Press to scroll down the menu items.
In directory / redial list / call list / entry: Press to scroll down the list.
In editing mode: Press to move the cursor to the left.
During a call: Press to decrease the earpiece volume.
6. DeLete
In pre-dial / editing mode: Press to erase a digit or character. Or press and hold to
clear the whole string.
In directory / redial list / call list / entry: Press to delete an item.
7. MUte
During a call: Press to mute / resume the microphone.

9. SpeAKer
Press to turn on the speaker, and press again to turn off the speaker.
10. ALpHAnUMerIc KeypAD, * (ASterISK), # (HASH)
Press to insert a digit / character / * / #
Press # in idle mode: Press and hold to turn on / off the ringer.
Press * during a call: If you have pulse service, you can press to switch to touch-
tone dialing temporarily.
11. tALK on / fLASH
In idle mode / pre-dialing mode: Press to post dial.
While the handset is ringing: Press to answer the call.
In directory / redial list / call list entry: Press to make a call to the selected entry.
During a call: when you hear the call waiting alert, press to answer the call.
12. reDIAL
In idle mode: press repeatedly to view the 10 recently dialed numbers.
In pre-dial / number editing mode / during a call: Press and hold to insert a dialing
pause (p).
