Service Diagnostics and Procedures–Disassembly
To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power to unit using power
switch before servicing. Wires removed during disassembly must be replaced on proper terminals to insure
correct earth ground and polarization. After servicing, reconnect power using power switch.

Auger Motor

To access the auger motor:
1. Remove ice bin assembly and ice maker,
(see ice bin assembly section, page 48 and ice
maker section, page 49).
2. Remove ice fan assembly, see ice fan assembly
section, page 52)
3. Turn ice maker over. Remove screws securing
auger motor and ice maker yoke.

Note: Ice maker yoke is left-handed thread.
4. Disconnect wiring.

5. Remove auger motor.
Ice Maker Yoke
6. Repair or replace auger motor.
7. Reverse procedure to reinstall.
