Replacing the heater

6.6.1 Removal
Tools:
Collecting tray for water
Torx screwdriver T10, T20
Open-end wrench A/F 8/10 mm
Procedure:
1. Disassemble appliance as described in the chapter "General
disassembly".
2. Remove watertank support as described in the chapter "
watertank support replacement".
3. Loosen screw for protective conductor connection (1), Torx
T20, and screw for securing clip (2), Torx T20.
4. Remove thermal link (3) and securing clip.
5. Disconnect wires for thermal link (4), for heater connection (5)
and connecting cable (red) for NTC temperature sensor from
the electronics board.
6. Remove NTC temperature sensor (6) from the heater by
using an open-end wrench A/F 8/10 mm.
Provide a collecting tray for residual water in the thermal
block.
7. Detach securing clips (7) and remove fluid connections (8)
from the heater.
8. Loosen and remove screw (9), Torx T20, from the heater.
Remove and replace heater.
