Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four M4x10 self-tapping screws that fasten the engine to
the case bottom.

Unwrap the black thermal switch cable from around the engine fan cables.

Lift the optical engine out of the bottom case. Note that the engine fan cable is still attached to the
projector.
