3 Gently pry the keypad cable away from the double-sided tape near the slot in the top case.
4 Lift the keypad away from the top case, allowing the keypad cable to slide through and out of the
slot.
Assembly Notes

Make sure to route the keypad cable through the slot in the top case. Avoid kinking the cable.

Lay the keypad into the recess in the top case and press to secure the keypad to the top case.
♦
Apply adhesive tape to the ribbon near the slot to ensure proper positioning of the cable.
