Possible Cause
Fuel tank (16) is empty
Oil tank is empty
Motor throttle control (2)
is not in correct starting position
Spark plug (20)
Blades hitting the grass to be cut
Cutting height
2 x swing blades (23) are dull
or blunt
60L hard catcher (7) is full
Cutting height too low
Grass is wet

Rear discharge chute (12)

Solution
Check the fuel tank (16), and refuel if
required.
Check the level of the oil dipstick (19),
and if low or empty, add oil
Move the motor throttle control (2)
to the correct "START" position
Clean or replace if dirty or worn
Increase the cutting height of the mower
so the blades do not make contact with
the grass on start up
Increase the cutting height using the
8 height adjustment lever (13)
Replace the blades with new / sharp
blades.
Empty 60L hard catcher (7)
Increase the cutting height using the
8 height adjustment lever (13)
Allow the grass to dry before mowing
Sharpen or replace the 4 x swing blades

Stop mower and clear the rear discharge
chute (12)
