Replacing Consumables

This section describes how to replace the remote control battery, the lamp and
the air filter.

Battery Replacement Period

If the remote control becomes slow in responding or if it stops working, the
battery may be dead. If this happens, replace the battery with a new one.
Guide to battery replacement period: After about 3 months if the remote control
is used for one hour each day
* The replacement period given above may vary depending on the amount of
usage and the ambient conditions.
Use the following type of battery as a replacement.
1 CR2025 lithium battery

Inserting the Battery

Replace the remote control battery with a new one by following the procedure
given below.
Caution :
Be sure to read the Safety Instructions/ World-Wide Warranty Terms for information on
safe handling of the battery.
Procedure
1
Remove the battery holder.
While pushing the catch of the battery
holder inward, pull the battery holder out.

Remove the old battery and insert
the new battery.
Check the position of the (+) mark inside
the battery holder to ensure that that
battery is inserted the correct way.

Insert the battery holder into the
remote control.
Push the battery holder in until it clicks.
Tip :
Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local
waste disposal regulations.
