Modalità "Race"
Si attiva azionando l'interruttore sul
tunnel (vedi pag. 2.29).
La modalità "RACE" è carat-
terizzata da cambi marcia più
rapidi rispetto quelli realizzati in
modalità normale.
Il cambio marcia sarà più "veloce"
se richiesto con pedale acceleratore a
fondo e oltre circa 7000 giri/min.; in
tali condizioni si può verificare, an-
che su fondo asciutto, un inizio di
slittamento delle ruote motrici (in
particolare con marce basse).
I cambi marcia "DOWN" con peda-
le acceleratore rilasciato avranno un
effetto frenante al limite dello
slittamento delle ruote motrici su
asfalto asciutto.
In condizioni di guida sportiva con
cambi marcia ad elevati regimi mo-
tore, viene eseguita automaticamen-
te la doppietta in scalata.
Si consiglia di non utilizzare
la modalità "RACE" su stra-
de con condizioni di bassa o media
aderenza (es, presenza di ghiaccio,
neve o bagnato) in quanto si posso-
no avere, durante i cambi marcia,
slittamenti delle ruote motrici. Per-
tanto un uso particolarmente spor-
tivo della vettura è consigliata solo
in pista.

"RACE" mode
This mode is activated using the
switch on the tunnel (see page 2.29).
The "RACE" mode is charac-
terised by faster gear-shifting
compared to gear-shifting in the
normal mode.
Gearshifting will be "faster" if re-
quested with the accelerator pedal
pressed completely down and at over
7000 rpm, approximately. Under
these conditions, even on dry
roadbeds, the driving wheels could
start to skid (particularly in low
gears).
"DOWN" gear-shifting with the ac-
celerator pedal released will cause a
braking effect bordering on skidding
of the driving wheels on dry asphalt.
Under sporty driving conditions with
gearshifts at high engine speed rates,
double-clutching when up-shifting is
carried out automatically.
It is not advisable to use the
"RACE" mode on roads with
low- or medium-grip conditions (e.g.
presence of ice, snow or wet asphalt),
as such conditions can cause skid-
ding of the driving wheels during
gear-shifting. Therefore, racing-type
driving of the vehicle is advisable
only on race tracks.

La modalité "RACE" se ca-
ractérise par des passages de
vitesse plus rapides par rapport à
ceux qui sont réalisés dans la moda-
lité normale.
Le passage de vitesse sera plus "ra-
pide" s'il est demandé avec la pédale
d'accélérateur appuyée à fond et un
régime moteur supérieur à 7000 tr/
mn. Dans ces conditions, sur les
chaussées sèches aussi, les roues mo-
trices peuvent commencer à patiner
(surtout aux rapports plus démulti-
pliés).
Les rétrogradages "DOWN" avec la
pédale d'accélérateur relâchée ont un
effet freinant à la limite du patinage
des roues motrices sur les chaussées
sèches.
Dans les conditions de conduite spor-
tive avec changements de vitesse ef-
fectués à des régimes élevés, le dou-
ble débrayage s'effectue automatique-
ment pour rétrograder.
On conseille de ne pas utiliser
la modalité "RACE" sur des
routes à faible ou moyenne adhé-
rence (par exemple, en cas de ver-
glas, neige ou chaussée mouillée),
du fait que, pendant les passages de
vitesse, les roues motrices peuvent
patiner. Donc une utilisation parti-
culièrement poussée de la voiture est
conseillé uniquement sur piste.
"RACE"-Funktion

on gekennzeichnet.
Der Gangwechsel wird "schneller"
wenn er mit durchgedrücktem Gas-
pedal und bei mehr als 7000 U/Min.
angefordert wird. Unter diesen Be-
dingungen kann es geschehen, dass
die Antriebsräder auch bei trocke-
nem Untergrund anfänglich durch-
drehen (besonders in den niedrigen
Gängen).
Die "DOWN"-Gangwechsel mit los-
gelassenem Gaspedal haben einen
bremsenden Effekt an der Grenze zum
Durchdrehen der Antriebsräder auf
trockenem Asphalt.
Unter Bedingungen einer sportlichen
Fahrweise mit Gangschalten in ho-
hem Motorenregime wird beim Her-
unterschalten automatisch Zwischen-
gas gegeben.
Es wird empfohlen, auf Stra-
ßen mit mittlerer oder gerin-
ger Bodenhaftung (z.B. bei Eis,
Schnee oder Nässe) nicht die
"RACE"-Funktion zu benutzen, da
die Antriebsräder beim Gangwechsel
durchdrehen können. Ein besonders
sportlicher Gebrauch des Fahrzeugs
wird daher nur für Rennstrecken
empfohlen.
