Recording
General information
You can record on the cassette, in case that you
do not violate the rights of third parties.
You cannot use for record the following cas-
sette types: СHROME (IEC II) or METAL (IV), use
NORMAL (IEC I), that have record locking.
To protect the recording, remove the cor-
responding locking, so it will be impossible to
write over this recording. To write the recording
over close the hole with the isolating tape. At
the very beginning and at the end of the cas-
sette there is no recording for 7 seconds.
Recording from the radio
1. Tune to the desired radio station, following
the instructions in "Radio station reception".
2. Insert a blank cassette in the cassette com-
partment.
3. Press the RECORD button, the PLAY button
will be pressed automatically. You can adjust
the volume level, without being afraid to
make the record quality worse.
4. To stop the recording temporary press the
PAUSE button. To resume recording press
this button again.
5. Press the STOP/EJ button to stop recording.
Recording from CD
You can record from a CD disc.
1. Insert a blank cassette in the cassette com-
partment.
2. Select the corresponding operating mode.
3. Open the disc compartment, by pressing
the OPEN/CLOSE button. Place a CD disc
and close the disc compartment lid. Select a
track you want to record.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to playback
the selected track.
5. Press the RECORD button, the PLAY button
will be pressed automatically. You can adjust
volume level, without being afraid to make
the record quality worse.
6. To stop recording temporary press the
PAUSE button. To resume recording press
this button again.

7. Press the STOP/EJ button to stop recording.
Cleaning the cassette deck
To provide for a good playback quality and re-
cording, you should wipe А, В and С elements
from time to time after 50 hours of operation,
use a cotton cloth dampened in alcohol or spe-
cial liquid.
1. Open the cassette compartment by press-
ing the STOP/EJECT button.
2.
Press the PLAY button and wipe the
pinch roller С.
3. Press the PAUSE button and wipe the cap-
stan В.
4. Wipe the magnetic heads А.
5. After cleaning press the STOP/EJECT button.
Note: You can clean the heads by playing back a
special cleaning cassette.
Playback of CD/MP3 discs
Your cassette recorder can playback the follow-
ing disc types: Audio CD, MP3, CD-R, CD-RW.
This appliance does not play back PC discs,
СDi, VCD, DVD.
Note: Always close the discs slot lid to protect it
from dust. Always extract the disc from the slot if
it is not being played back
Note: This unit can playback most of the discs,
recorded in MP3 format, but there are cases,
when the disc is not played back due to settings
of the software used while recording the disc.
1. Select the disc playback mode, by
setting the operating mode switch to the
corresponding position.
2. Open the disc slot by pressing the OPEN/
CLOSE button. Set the disc and close the
slot lid. Make sure that the disc is inserted
properly – with its label up.
3. To playback press the ►║ button. To pause
the playback, press this button once again.
4. To stop the playback, press the ■ button.
Note: CD/MP3 playback will stop while opening
