ADJUSTMENT OF THE FOCUS / DIOPTER
ADJUSTMENT
The focus for objects at diff erent distances is
adjusted on the Leica Geovid HD-R using the central
focusing wheel (5).
The two diopter adjustment rings (4) serve to
compensate individual vision problems when viewing
without spectacles and for adjustment of the target
mark.
Perform the following steps carefully. Only then can
you make full use of the lens performance.
1. Turn the two diopter adjustment rings (4) to their
zero positions.

2. Look through the binoculars at an homogeneous
white background. You can also hold a sheet of
white paper in front of the lenses of the
binoculars.
3. Now activate the target mark using the main/
shutter button (7).
