Performing the measurement
Ask the test subject to blow evenly into the mouthpiece without interruption. A sufficient
flow is indicated by a continous tone and a green light.
While the sample is taken the display shows: "Blow"
When the sampling was successful the green light will cease and the continuous tone will
stop.
The display shows:
"WAIT Analyzing"
Test result
After 5 to 25 seconds (depending on the instrument temperature and the measured concen-
tration) the measured value is shown on the display.
ZERO / PASS
or
ALERT (in Traffic mode only)
or
FAIL
It is also possible to show the value in a decimal presentation, if required by respective autho-
rities.
