Zipper insertion

This foot can be set to sew on
each side of the zipper, the The
edge of the foot guides the
zipper to ensure straight
placement.
Attention:
Zipper foot should be used for
sewing width center needle
position straight stitch only. It is
possible that needle could hit
the presser foot and break when
sewing other patterns.

Inserting a centered zipper

- Place the right sides of the
fabric together. Sew a bottom
seam 2cm from the right edge
to the zipper bottom stop
position. Sew a few stitches in
reverse to lock. Increase the
stitch length to maximum, set
the tension below 2, and
baste the remaining length of
the fabric.
- Press open the seam
allowance.
Place the zipper face down on
the seam allowance with the
teeth against the seam line.
Baste the zipper tape.
- Attach the zipper foot. Attach
the right side of the presser
foot pin to the holder when
sewing the left side of the
zipper.
- Attach the left side of the
presser foot pin to the presser
foot holder when sewing the
right side of the zipper.
- Stitching around the zipper.
Note:
When sewing, be sure that the
needle does not touch the zipper,
otherwise the needle may bend
or break.
- Remove the basting and
press.
