    1. SAFETY 1.1 The operator of the machine is responsible for and has a duty of care in making sure that the machine is operated safely and in accordance with the instructions in this user manual. Please note the following safety points 1.1.2 The machine should never be left it in a condition which would allow an untrained or unauthorised person/s to operate this machine.

    33. A SSEMBLY AND INITIAL OPERATION 3.1 Ppower unit. 1. Front handle 2. SScrew 5mm x 35mm 3. Nut M55 4. Cover 5. Front handle bar 6. SScrew 4.2mm x 9.5mm 7.   • Page 10 3.5 Fuel information. 33.5.1 Refuelling: 3.5.1.1 For air-cooled 2-stroke engines,mix unleaded petrol thoroughly with synthetic 2-stroke oil at 40:1 ratio or mineral 2-stroke oil at 20:1 ratio. Tip: Always prepare 1 litre of the mix at a time because the mix turns unusable after prolonged storage.

    4. OPERATION 4.1 Only attempt to start the machine once the all poles and attachments have been securely fitted and attached. Check for abnormal vibrations when machine is running. If machine is vibrating too much,it is generally because the poles and/or attachments are not fitted and secured properly.
  • Page 12 4.1. Continued. Start the machine by carefully pulling the starting handle. Do this whilst the machine is against the ground. Now control the throttle so that the machine runs evenly until it reaches full speed. Check for abnormal vibrations when machine is running.
